WHERE DO YOUR TOURS GO?
View AnswerOur tours explore the Superstition Mountain areas as well as the world famous Apache Trail. Our permitted trails include areas in the Tonto National Forest and Bureau of Land Management territory. We are the only outfitters authorized to off-road here and would love to have you join us on the trails where fierce Apache rode and the gold rush took place in the 1800’s.
WHAT TYPES OF TOURS DO YOU HAVE?

We specialize in educating our guests about the history and legends, Native lore and culture, desert resources, and the flora and fauna. We take our role as caretakers seriously and are partners in preservation through education with the United States Forest Service and Bureau of Land Management.

View AnswerTours are available from sun up to sun down 7 days per week and departures are based on reservation times booked.
What is your cancellation or no-show policy?
View AnswerA credit card is required to hold your reservation. Tours may be cancelled or rescheduled at no additional charge up to 48 hours prior to tour date/time. There are no refunds for cancellations after that time. Reschedules within 48 hours of tour date/time incur a $10.00 fee. No shows will be charged full fare plus tax.
What if I need to reschedule?

Can you pick me up at my hotel?

Are restrooms available on the tours?
View AnswerThere are restroom facilities available at Goldfield Ghost town prior to your departure. Facilities are also located at Tortilla Flat and Fish Creek Hill overlook.
Do you go in the rain?
View AnswerWe run rain or shine. There’s nothing quite like the fragrance of the Arizona desert in the rain. And who would want to miss the opportunity of seeing the water falls off the canyon walls along the Apache Trail? Of course, full refunds will be issued if there is zero visibility or the trails are closed by the forest service.
What is your tipping policy?
View AnswerOur tour guides work had to provide you with an entertaining and educational experience. Tipping in appreciation of their workmanship is customary and greatly appreciated. The recommended gratuity is 15-20%. The gratuity may be paid directly to the guide or added to your charge at check in.
How many people fit in a Jeep?
View AnswerOur Jeeps hold up to 8 average size people. Please let us know if anyone in your group is over 6’ tall or 200 pounds.
Will my group be the only ones on the tour?
View AnswerOur Jeeps hold up to 8 average sized people and groups are combined. Private tours require the purchase of a minimum of six seats.

I’m traveling by myself – can I take a tour?
View AnswerAbsolutely! We can either add you to a tour that is already reserved or put your name on our waiting list.

What hours is your office open?
View AnswerOur phones are answered from 7am to 7pm 7 days a week. The office does not need to be open to reserve or run tours and does not keep set hours. Please call us at 480-982-7661 to book your adventure!
Do you have tours in the summer?
View AnswerWe do offer tours during the hot summer months. For your comfort and safety, however tours typically do not run once the outdoor temperature reaches 105 degrees.
Is there a fee to pay by credit card?
View AnswerWe do not pass on the fee charged us by the credit card processing companies.
Do you offer any discounts?
View AnswerIn support of everyone during these tough economic times, our prices have been capped since 2007 and we increased the child age to 15. And, although permitted by law, we do not pass on the credit card processing fee charged to us. Additionally, we offer a package discount on group sizes of eighteen or more.
Is food allowed on the tour?
View AnswerWe supply complimentary bottled water. You are welcome to bring your own contained snacks. Eating is not recommended while the vehicle is in motion.
My wife is pregnant – can we still go on tour?
View AnswerBecause of the ruggedness of our tours or the time/distance to/between facilities we do not recommend our tours for pregnant women.
How long will it take me to get to your place?
View AnswerFrom the central Phoenix valley and equivalent surrounding areas, plan an hour. Our tours depart promptly on time and your credit card will be charged if you are not on board. Please arrive 15-30 minutes prior to your departure time for check-in.
