Frequently Asked Questions

WHERE DO YOUR TOURS GO?

Our tours, located in the Tonto National Forest, explore the Superstition Mountain area as well as the world famous Apache Trail. We are the only outfitters authorized to off-road here and would love to have you join us on the trails where fierce Apache rode and the gold rush took place in the 1800’s.

WHAT TYPES OF TOURS DO YOU HAVE?

We offer rugged off-road 4X4 tours, on-road scenic journeys and gold-panning. Combine types of tours or add a steak dinner at sunset for a unique experience. A picture is worth 1000 words…..being there priceless!

For larger groups and corporate functions, ask about our Goldfield Ghost Town Package and Geo-Caching Adventure.

WHAT DO YOU LEARN ABOUT ON YOUR TOURS?

Your guide will weave the trails and tales of the old west. We specialize in educating our guests about the history and legends, Native lore and culture, desert resources, and the flora and fauna. We take our role as caretakers seriously and are partners in preservation through education with the United States Forest Service.

DO I HAVE TO MAKE A RESERVATION?

Reservations are always recommended to assure availability on the day and time that you would like for your adventure.

WHAT DO WE NEED TO BRING ON OUR TOUR?

  • Closed-toed shoes (tennis shoes are fine)
  • Sunscreen and/or hat, sunglasses, lip balm
  • Lightweight wrap (the temperatures along desert floor and through the canyon
area of the Apache Trail can vary from turn-to-turn)
