Stuttgart Louie
Louie was born and raised in the beautiful city of Budapest/Hungary. His father hailed from the Stuttgart area of Germany (where Jacob Waltz, the legendary Lost Dutchman came from),his mother was Hungarian. Growing up and living in a Russian dominated communist country was not easy. Being half German, the paranoid commie authorities constantly discriminated against the family, even trying to force the father to change his name to a Hungarian name. The young Louie secretly reading forbidden american magazines, never imagined he would end up in the land of "ARIZONA HIGHWAYS", that he so admired. After serving in the communist army (not allowed to persue higher education), he became a city-bus driver. Fed up with the system, in 1969 he escaped to Italy and emigrated to the US. In 1973 met and married a beautiful Texan girl and moved to Colorado to raise their children. After retiring he traveled the US in a motor home and settling in long admired state of Arizona. Being an outdoorsman, driving a Jeep and talking about history and nature comes natural. When not driving, he enjoys fishing, biking and retirement!
