Laredo Larry

Laredo Larry was born and raised in California, his family moved up and down the state while he was young. His dad was a traveling sporting goods salesman. The family finally settled outside Sacramento in the small burg of Folsom. There they had horses and cattle (6) on about a ten-acre ranch. After graduating high school, he joined the Marine Corps, went to Viet Nam, and made it home alive. He settled in southern California, were he attended college at Fullerton, University of California. He started his career with the United States Postal Service, during his career as a manager he served as Postmaster of four different cities, with his last city being Anaheim. When their sons had grown and left home, he and his wife looked at Arizona for retirement, where his wife's sister and family had lived for the last thirty years. They fell in love with the Superstition Mountain area, retired and bought a home at the foot of mountain. Laredo is an avid fan of the local history of central Arizona, and has found a dream job as a jeep driver for Apache Trails Tours.
