Spend the day in the old west and relive the past at Goldfield Ghost Town! Being the only authentic ghost town in the Phoenix area, step back into time as you meander through town on the old wooden creaky sidewalks. Envision the hustle and bustle of the thriving community when over 3000 miners lived and worked here.
Partake in a mine tour that takes you underground to explore how they extracted the gold during the gold rush of the 1800's. Once the gold fever has a hold of you, pan for gold as the old prospectors did, and actually take some home! Wander over to the Southwest exhibit to see the venomous creatures that still inhabit the Sonoran Desert today.
Visit with the local merchants for a bit, and don't forget to stop by the ol' Bordello and meet the local ladies. Head down the hill for a train ride around town on Arizona's only narrow gauge railroad before settling down for supper at the old west Steak house and Saloon.
